The mother and daughter duo explore their life in Davis through photography. The mother, Puii Sailo, is a media artist and an immigrant from India, whose past photography works focused on capturing people in unsuspecting moments of their existence. Her daughter, Pooja Tripathi, became enthralled with photography at the age of ten and soon discovered the medium to be a way of holding on to memories that would otherwise be forgotten. Together the two have captured their experiences and interactions with their adopted home in Davis, CA. Soon, these experiences and interactions will be on display to share with their adopted home. It’s a unique chance to see an immigrant’s and her daughter’s experience.
