Mountain Lion Sighted On American River Parkway

Quote

A mountain lion has been sighted on the American River Parkway, Sacramento County Regional Parks officials said Monday.

Officials said reports of mountain lion sightings have been received in the areas of Harrington Park, the William B. Pond Recreation Area and Ancil Hoffman Park.

Residents are asked to report mountain lion sightings or deer carcasses -- a sign that mountain lions are in the area -- to the park ranger dispatch center at 916-875-6672 or at parksd@saccounty.net.
