Security Tightened After Alleged Sexual Assault

Quote

Police were patrolling the area near a Citrus Heights middle school on Thursday following an alleged sexual assault, officials said.

Police said a teenage girl was attacked on Tuesday afternoon near Sylvan Middle School on the 7100 block of Auburn Boulevard.

The alleged attacker has not been found, investigators said.

Authorities said additional police officers will also be on patrol before and after class around Mesa Verde High School, Carriage Elementary and Citrus Heights Elementary.
