Rocklin Teacher Accused of Assaulting Student

Quote

A Rocklin teacher is being accused of assault after he allegedly attacked a student at Whitney High School last Friday, police said.

Authorities said that John Bosco grabbed a 15-year-old student by the throat and flipped the boy over a chair.

The confrontation may have been triggered by a comment that the student made about Bosco's daughter, investigators said.

The physical education teacher has been placed on administrative leave with pay pending an investigation into the incident.
