I wasn't expecting much when I went to the theater to watch this movie. I thought it was just a funny animated movie. But I have to tell you guys, this movie is so awesome!  Yeah, it's funny. And inspiring and touching. My friend who is a cook even cried. Funny!  I'll definitely buy the DVD.

I have mixed feelings about this movie. It is definitely directed at a mixed audience, but I feel it is more suitable for children. While the emotional aspect as you mentioned might be directed more for adults, the general concept of the movie... a Rat who can cook (ok lol) isn't exactly something an adult normally finds amusing. Overall it was a well rounded movie, but I highly suggest letting your kids see it while you choose another adult appropriate movie such as Inception

i hears a lot about good this animated movie from my friends before i saw this movie, and when i saw this believe me it was a lot better then my friends told me, rat becoming a shef sounds like a crazy idea, but the way this idea is presented in the movie is awesome, i watched this movie 3times, and I loved it, anyone among you who hasn't seen this movie should see it, you will definitely enjoy.
