The sue-happy George Louie is at it again, threatening Sacramento area businesses with law suits, unless they pay up. I can understand businesses needing to be ADA compliant, but it's obvious this guy is in it for the money. If he wasn't, he could just as easily work with the businesses, or at the very least, give them a warning.

Here are the latest victims of Mr. Louie:
East Sacramento’s Sudz Yer Dudz, Stop & Shop, and Coffee Works, and Midtown’s Suzie Burger

Past victims:
The Sacramento County Superior Court lists more than 100 lawsuits, from Mr. Pickle’s Sandwich Shop to the U.S. Bank.

I didn't hear about those, but it reminds me of the Squeeze Inn issue. However, that was a different person and it was dropped due to public outcry...

Well, I have mixed emotions on it. I don't really like the idea of someone making a living off of lawsuits. On the other hand, those ADA regs are there for a reason and businesses are supposed to be complying. If they aren't, they are in the wrong. So, I don't like frivolous things, but unless you are in need of those parking spots or whatever, you don't really realize how important they are.
